Here are some frequently asked questions that you may be wanting answers to as well.
Is the hair you sell human hair?
Yes, all extensions being sold on this site are 100% human hair.
What does "double wefted" mean?
Double wefted extensions are made up of two wefts (tracks) of hair stitched together. This makes the hair thicker then a single weft and helps to make hair look fuller.
How do you attach the extensions?
A: All extensions come with shap-clips sewn on. But upon request you can get hair with no clips in order to glue or sew them in.
To clip in, simply part your hair where you would like the extension piece. Then with a fine-toothed comb, tease the hair close to the scalp to form a small patch of hair to hold the clips solidly. Then spray the patch with a spray of hairspray. Next, clip the extension in the sprayed and teased patch, close to the scalp, and snap the clip closed. Your extensions should stay put all day.
* I personally have straight hair when I wear my extensions, and I never have to tease my hair or spray it to keep my clips in. But for an extra secure fit this may work best for you.
How should I wash my extensions?
A. Your extensions may be washed with a gentle cleansing shampoo that does not contain oil. To keep colors vibrant, it is preferred that you use a color-protecting shampoo. Dampen the extensions with COLD water (cold water will keep the color from running and staining the lighter portions of the hair, especially with striped extensions) and lather shampoo in your hands. Gently work the shampoo lather down the extension, starting where the clip is located and then work your way down to the ends of the hair piece. Be gentle and avoid being as rough as you would with your hair. I would recommend using a conditioner made for reviving and adding nutrients to your hair. Saturate your hair extensions with the conditioner in the same manor you used to shampoo them. You may leave them to soak in the conditioner's nutrients for a few minutes. If you would like to condition them again, feel free. Once you are done, use a towel to dry them as much as possible. Make sure to dry the clips completely to avoid them rusting.
How should I dry my extensions?
Always use a towel to dry our your extensions first, and be very delicate when combing them. Hair tends to stretch when wet, so start combing your extensions starting from the very ends and slowly work your way up to avoid tangles. If you are not in a rush to put your extensions on then it would be best to leave them out on a towel to air dry. If you would like them to be dried sooner then you may use a blow dryer, but make sure you use a heat-protecting spray (just a squirt or two - any more and they will be greasy when they're dry) and dry on a medium or low heat setting. Try to avoid blow drying as much as possible. When the extensions are dry, gently brush to remove any remaining knots.
Will my extensions fade?
A: Permanent colors such as black, blonde and brown don't have problems with fading. Semi and demi permanent colors (reds, oranges, yellows, greens, blues, purples and pinks) do fade with shampoo usage. All extensions are clip ins, which allow you the luxury of being able to take them out at night and you don't have to wear them 24/7. This means that you do not need to wash them as often as you wash your hair normally. If they are dirty, try and wash them with cold water before using shampoo.
What can I do to restore moisture?
A: Personally, I saturate my hair as well as my extensions in Extra Virgin Olive Oil for at least an hour before washing. This helps to prevent breaking, and helps restore nutrients to the hair. This technique saves me from constantly trimming off broken and dead ends because they disappear after washing. Of course you can still damage it after, so make it a habit to do it every time before you shower!
